At Thornton, we follow the KAPPOW RE scheme of work. Kapow Primary’s Religion and Worldviews scheme of work supports an inclusive understanding of beliefs, fosters critical thinking and respect for diverse perspectives among children. Pupils learn about traditions, rituals, and theologies through multiple lenses.

Knowledge Organiser

We make use of knowledge organisers to ensure children know exactly which information is expected to be learned over the course of their unit including rich topic vocabulary which is carefully planned in all subjects.
